Kouzou Kusuba

Biography

Kouzou Kusuba was born in Ehime, Japan and was a renowned screenwriter and director in the anime industry. He began his career at Tokyo Movie in 1971 before moving to Nippon Animation in 1981. Kusuba made his directorial debut with "Fuusen no Doratarou" and went on to become a key contributor to the World Masterpiece Theater series. He worked on various anime projects throughout his career before becoming a freelance director in 2004. Sadly, Kouzou Kusuba passed away on March 20, 2018, leaving behind a legacy of beloved anime works that continue to inspire and entertain audiences worldwide.
