Wataru Sawabe was born in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo and pursued his love for music by entering the Composition Department of Showa College of Music in 2006. It was during this time that he began his solo project called "Skirt" which utilized overdubbing recording methods to create his unique sound. In 2010, Sawabe founded his own record label "Kaczka Sounds" and dedicated himself to creating music, ultimately releasing his first album titled "S-O-S".
