Nobuyo Ooyama, originally born as Nobuyo Yamashita in Tokyo, Japan, is renowned for her iconic role as the voice of Doraemon, the beloved robot cat from the future. She lent her voice to Doraemon in the second TV series starting in 1979, continuing until her retirement in 2005. Aside from her memorable portrayal of Doraemon, Ooyama also contributed her talents to various other anime projects throughout her career.
