Amazarashi is an enigmatic band hailing from Aomori Prefecture and fronted by lead vocalist and guitarist Hiromu Akita. Their keyboardist is Manami Toyokawa. The group is notorious for performing behind a screen during their live concerts, and their music videos often feature striking computer-generated imagery. In 2010, the music video for their song "Waiting for the Summer" garnered the Excellence Award at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival.
