Masashi Hamauzu is a renowned Japanese video game composer who worked at Square Enix from 1996 to 2010. With his vast experience and expertise, he has worked on various animes, including the well-known Final Fantasy and SaGa series. Hamauzu was born in Germany; however, his musical family raised him in Japan. It was in kindergarten when he first discovered his love for music and began taking piano lessons from his parents.
