Masuo Ueda is a veteran planning manager in the anime industry, having started his career at Nippon Sunrise in 1979. Some of his notable works during his time at Nippon Sunrise include Mobile Suit Gundam, Aoki Ryuusei SPT Layzner, and Ginga Hyouryuu Vifam. In the year 2000, Ueda decided to become a freelance professional and contributed to the popular anime series, InuYasha.
