Jouji Yanami, born Shirato Shigemitsu on August 30, 1931 in Tokyo, was a highly respected seiyuu in the anime industry. Over the course of his career, he worked on various animes and was represented by Aoni Production. Some of his most notable roles include Ban Chuuta in "Kyojin no Hoshi," one of the San-Aku in the "Time Bokan Series," the Narrator and North Kaiou in "Dragon Ball," Super Zeus in "Bikkuriman," and Momen Ittan in "GeGeGe no Kitarou."
